Cegedim Rx is the leading supplier of computer software solutions and services to more than 50% of the UK pharmacy market, which incorporates in excess of 6,500 pharmacies, and employs over 140 staff across two main sites in Chertsey and Leyland.
Nexphase and Pharmacy Manager are the two PMR systems that Cegedim Rx offers and these are supported by a number of modules including Message Dynamics voice and SMS messaging and the CRxDefence security package.
Cegedim Rx is at the forefront of the national electronic prescription programmes supporting pharmacies in England, Scotland and Wales.

Simon Driver – Managing Director
Simon was appointed managing director of NDC Health UK in 2003. Since then Simon has directed the company through subsequent takeovers and mergers, leading Cegedim Rx to become the success that it is today.
Simon brings a wealth of experience in pharmacy technology. Simon served as deputy managing director of John Richardson Computers until the acquisition of the company by NDC UK, was in charge of the overall LINK PMR business at AAH/Gehe between 1986 and 1999, and held the positions of regional sales manager and account manager for Vestric (part of the Glaxo group which was acquired by AAH/Gehe).
Michael Collier – Technical Director
In 2000, Mike was appointed technical director of NDC UK. He had previously been head of the technical development team of JRC, which was acquired by NDC UK, and he also designed the current PMR system. With 15 years’ experience of working in software development, ten of which at Cegedim Rx, he is responsible for all software development and hardware within the company.
Tim Dunn – Communication and Data Director
Tim was appointed communications and data director in April 2008. His role involves assessing potential opportunities with N3. He also contributes to the development of new products and services in addition to maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders within the pharmacy sector.
Tim has a significant amount of experience in the pharmacy sector, having previously served as a general manager at AAH and then managing director of Mediphase until it was sold to Unichem in 2000.
Clive Eckett - Sales & Marketing Director
Clive joined Cegedim Rx in October 2010 and is responsible for sales, marketing and product management. Clive has 18 years’ senior executive leadership experience within major global solution companies including Hitachi Data Systems, Agfa Healthcare and StorageTek. He has successfully led bids for Connecting for Health clinical projects and brings with him a wealth of experience in delivering customer value.
Sue Heap – Financial Director
Sue was appointed as financial director in January 2000. She is responsible for the legal, administrative and financial areas of the company, and is the primary liaison for Cegedim group accounting activities in the UK. Sue is an experienced certified accountant and a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.
Caroline Hopkins – Service Director
With 20 years’ experience in IT and service management and a ITIL qualification (Best Practice Service Management Methodology), Caroline was an excellent fit for Cegedim Rx when she joined in 2006. As service director, Caroline is responsible for Cegedim Rx’s service desk, order processing and deployment.
