Director Overview

Simon Driver - Managing Director

Simon was appointed Managing Director the company known as NDC Health UK in September 2003. Since then Simon has directed the company through subsequent takeovers and mergers, helping to the make successful company that Cegedim Rx is today.

Prior to his appointment, he served as a Sales & Marketing Director, and before that, Operations Director.

Simon's position prior to these was that of Deputy Managing Director of John Richardson Computers, until the acquisition of the company by NDC UK.

Between 1986 to 1999, Simon was in charge of the overall LINK PMR business of AAH/Gehe, and prior to that, he held positions as a Regional Sales manager and Account Manager for Vestric (Part of the Glaxo group, acquired by AAH/Gehe)

Michael Collier - Technical Director

In December 2000, Mike was appointed Technical Director of NDC UK. He had previously been head of the technical development team of JRC, which was acquired by NDC UK, and he also designed the current PMR system.

His ten years at Cegedim Rx and 15 years of experience working in software development mean that he is now responsible for all hardware and software development within the company.

During his time at Libpac, he lead the development team in creating innovative library services and created one of the first data warehouses that could be accessed through the internet.

Caroline Hopkins - Service Director

As Service Director, Caroline is responsible for all of Cegedim Rx's customer services including service desk, contracts, engineering and system deployment.

Previously as a Director she also established the IT Shared Services for drinks giant Diageo in Hungary. She was also European IS Manager for UPS.

With 20 years industry experience in IT and service management and an ITIL Qualification (Best Practice Service Management Methodology), Caroline was an excellent addition to the Cegedim Rx team when she joined in May 2006.

Den Moran - Sales and Marketing Director

Since joining Cegedim Rx May 2006, Den has become responsible for sales and marketing for all Cegedim Rx products.

Having previously worked for large pharmaceutical companies in the UK and USA, including Warner Chilcott, Astra Zeneca and Bayer, Den now has over 20 years of experience in the industry.

At Astra Zeneca he set up the dispensing doctor sales division, and during his time at Bayer he was the lead for the launch of Canesten and other OTC products.

Sue Heap - Financial Director

From 1997 to 2000 Sue held various positions within the NDC Health group of companies, but was appointed Financial Director of NDC UK in January 2000.

Sue is an experienced Certified Accountant and a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants.

She has gained experience in IT, HR and financial systems via employment in a number of different service companies such as Alpine Soft Drinks Plc and Ecovert, a subsidiary of the international French group, Bouyges.

Sue is now responsible for the legal, administrative and financial areas within the company, and is the primary liaison for Cegedim accounting activities in the UK.

Tim Dunn - Communications and Data Director

Tim Dunn has been appointed as Communications and Data Director of Cegedim Rx. His appointment commenced on April 9th 2008.

Tim has a wealth of experience in the Pharmacy sector, having previously served as a General Manager at AAH and then Managing Director of Mediphase until it was sold to Unichem in 2000. His last post was at IMS where he was responsible for data acquisition and Pharmacy Network Services.

His new role within CRx will involve looking at potential opportunities with N3. He will also assist in the development of new products as well as maintaining strategic relationships with professional and other key stake holders within the Pharmacy sector.
