Nexphase Receives Full EPS Release 2 Roll-Out Approval
Leyland, Lancashire – September 27th 2011 – Cegedim Rx has announced that its Nexphase PMR system has received full roll-out approval for EPS release 2. The accreditation was granted by NHS Connecting for Health on September 27th 2011 following a rigorous testing and approval process.
The announcement has brought the number of pharmacies able to go live with their system to over 95%. So far 1,632 pharmacy sites, more than one in seven pharmacies in England, have become EPS release 2 compliant.
The news follows Cegedim Rx’s sister company, INPS, receiving approval for its Vision GP system last week. INPS will be rolling out the EPS R2 functionality to all of its GP practices in England in October and will be working closely with PCTs to enable the service.
Cegedim Rx has installed the equivalent functionality in Pharmacy Manager at over 290 pharmacies with another 600 orders in process. Nexphase customers who have pre-ordered EPS R2 will soon start to undergo training and receive the software upgrade.
