What is a monitored service?
The latest technology enables Cegedim Rx to monitor updates and online back-ups pro-actively to ensure you have the latest updates and the most recent back-ups available. In addition, monitored services allow the Cegedim Rx service desk to better serve your pharmacy by providing information about the program versions you are currently running and diagnostic information about the PC's themselves. In practice, this means that should you contact the service desk regarding a computer system issue you will receive quicker service and reach a faster resolution as the service desk team will have the information that they need to help you, literally at their fingertips.
How does CRxDefence work?
CRxDefence sends your fully encrypted business critical data, to a secure data centre right here within the UK. There, you can be sure that it is safe and protected and be amongst the majority of the FTSE 100 companies that use the same data centre.
In the event of an emergency, your pharmacy data will be recovered securely and reliably from the data centre within a matter of hours. Your PMR data will be readily available online, allowing your data to be restored to your systems. Cegedim Rx constantly monitors its customers' back-up dates, which means it can proactively identify potential issues to give you peace of mind. What's more, to support EPS Release 2 PMR system developments in England, CRxDefence will ensure your monthly PPA claims will also be backed up remotely, minimising the risk of your reimbursement being affected in the event of an emergency.
