CRxDirect is a brand new messaging service from Cegedim Rx that delivers the latest news and special offers direct to your desktop, keeping you up-to-date with the latest pharmacy, IT and professional information.
Not only is the service completely unique, delivering notifications in text, pictures, video and audio, but it updates itself automatically, whether you are online or not. This means that your pharmacy staff can remain informed on all professional information, without leaving the desktop.
This exciting and beneficiary news delivery service is not only easy to download and operate, but it is completely free. There is no download charge, and no registration required, meaning you can remain anonymous.

CRxDirect will keep you informed throughout the lifetime of your custom with Cegedim Rx. We will inform you about new products and services and how this will affect you in your pharmacy.
There will be news, essential drug recalls, CPD training and updates from the world of pharmacy exclusive to our customers, ensuring that you and your pharmacy staff are working to the latest safety regulations.
Any service desk notifications can be communicated instantly to all customers, meaning that we can make you instantly aware if there are any major problems. This will free up our service desk to remain available for the normal day to day calls.
Easy To Use
Downloading the software is very easy, and the application is very small and won't affect the performance of your computer. It should take no longer than five minutes to download on a 56k modem.
Once the application has been downloaded, you will be given simple instructions to continue setting up the program.
It won't invade your privacy, and we will not pester you all the time, only when there is something important to say.
There is a function which enables you to read any previous messages and view all of the files that have been downloaded, meaning you can easily refer back to information you've received.

How will I receive the software? We will automatically send the software down via our Network Manager and Afairia channels. There will also be a secure web link with the file available for download.
How often will I receive messages? There will be a regular steam of messages which initially will be no more than two per day. The number of messages will depend on your personal profile settings and the level of news within the industry.
What types of messages will I receive? We will send a variety of messages which could include the following:

Can I review any previously read messages? Yes, you are able to review messages from the right hand click menu in the 'message history' option.
Where can I find files I have downloaded? You are able to find them within the right hand click menu in the 'downloaded files' option.
Can I schedule the software to arrive when convenient? Yes, when your application is set up you can choose to 'snooze' the system so that messages only arrive when you wish.
Can I move the CRx window on my desktop? Yes, just click and drag the application to a more convenient place on your desktop.
Can I switch the sound off? Yes, to mute the CRxDirect sound, select settings and uncheck the 'sound' option.
Does CRxDirect use up a lot of my system resources? No, the application uses very little system memory (usually around 5 to 10 megabytes) its CPU usage is very low and the hard disk space used will rarely exceed 20 megabytes.
Can I uninstall the software? Yes, you are able to uninstall the software as you would with any other software application.
