Knowledge Base

Integrated drug and medical information system

High quality patient care is at the centre of the new pharmacy contract. A contributing factor is the pharmacy's ability to provide patients with information that will help them to understand their condition, take their medication effectively, and encourage a healthy lifestyle. Every Pharmacy Manager system now includes Knowledge Base as standard. Giving patients reputable information is another massive factor and Knowledge Base's extremely comprehensive drug and medical information system that provides pharmacists with that ability. Knowledge Base can either be used as a fully searchable source of reference material, or as an integrated part of the dispensing process where information is shown that is relevant to the item being dispensed.

The comprehensive electronic library includes easy-to-read information for patients as well as clinical details for pharmacists and technicians, including monographs, manufacturers' PILs and SPCs, lists of excipients, and pharmacy and clinical journal articles.
